The new carrier Djibouti Shipping Lines (DSL) plans to launch a shuttle-container service between Djibouti and Berbera (Somaliland) in April, according to Alphaliner.

The report indicates that DSL wants to build on the importance of Djibouti as a strategic port in the Gulf of Aden and is considering extending its network to other ports in the Red Sea and Horn of Africa, Africa, including Port Sudan and Mogadishu.
