A man from Scottburgh caught something bigger than a sardine when he went to the beach for a bit of fishing. With the help of a few beach goers, the fisherman was able to roll up the shark and land the line fishing from its mouth, before releasing it into the ocean. According to the advice of KwaZulu Natal Shark, sharks frequently follow the sardine race. To reduce the risk of mosquito net damage, they are removed between June and July. The first small pockets of sardines were found in the Kelso region on the south coast of KZN last week.
